About Rows & Columns

Rows and Columns started as a series of monthly columns I wrote way back in 1986.  It's purpose, at the time, was to review the multitude of spreadsheet, word processing, and database software products that were available for the Commodore Amiga and, later, the IBM PC.  Anyone remember Maxiplan Plus, Analyze!, or Microfiche Filer Plus?  Those were a few of the programs I looked at in my now-ancient columns.

Periodically, I resurrected the name for various purposes.  Most recently, it was used for a series of professional articles submitted to the New England Graduate Accounting Studies Conference (NEGASC).

Now, Rows and Columns, the blog before blogs were even named blogs, is yours.  Please let me know if you'd like to see an article on specific tax, accounting, or technology issues.

P.S. How many people even remember the Commodore Amiga?
